Standard form documents

Introduction

Standard form documents are provided for construction contracts and for related project management and consultancy services agreements. They contain simple, effective provisions that reflect NSW Government policy and provide a reasonable allocation of contract risk.

The NSW Government Procurement System for Construction also provides guidance material to assist users of the standard form documents.

Standard form documents

GC21 (for construction contracts valued at $1M or more, or of lower value with complex contractual requirements)
Minor Works (for straightforward construction contracts valued at less than $1M)
Mini Minor Works (for contracts valued at less than $50,000 with simple terms)

important notice

The clauses relevant to the NSW Government Preference Scheme have been deleted from Standard Form of GC21 and Minor Works, as the Local Jobs First Plan does not apply to the construction contracts. GC21 Edition 2 Development Work
