The Code establishes the standards expected of members of the Textile Clothing and Footwear Industries, including contractors, subcontractors, agents, suppliers and all employers in the industry in all dealings with NSW government agencies. The Code covers employment obligations with respect to employees and outworkers in the procurement of textiles and footwear:

Asset Management & Office Accommodation

The NSW Government Asset Management Committee (GAMC) was established in 1998 to bring together NSW Government agencies and asset experts to ensure a "whole of government" approach to asset management and office accommodation planning.

Workplace Guidelines

Revised NSW Government Workplace Guidelines issued in July 1999 are maintained as an interactive document on the Internet.

These guidelines are not intended to provide definitive workplace solutions. Rather they are meant to make users aware of the relevant policies, legislation and other issues to be considered in workplace design. They also encourage users to consider alternative workplace solutions that might be appropriate for the way they work.
